Yesterday, Saturday May 9th, Debbie (Jimmy's sister) became Mrs. Kevin VanVooren! It was a wonderful weekend that began on Thursday night with pedicures and dinner with the VanVooren crew. Friday we had a wonderful bridesmaid's luncheon at the Green Valley Grill and then off to the church to practice for the big day. Luckily the weather was great so we were able to have the rehearsal dinner on the roof of Ganache in downtown Greensboro. We began a busy Saturday with Debbie proclaiming, "I'm getting married today!" at 6:45 and then off to the hair salon by 8:30. We got back to Maryanne and Ray's by 11:30 to do makeup and get dressed before the limo arrived at 12:30. And it's off to the church! The ceremony was beautiful and of course Debbie was breathtaking. I had a very hard time controlling my emotions and didn't just cry, but sobbed through most of it. Again luck was on our side. The rain held out until we finished with pictures and pulled up to the Proximity for the reception. From here on out it was party, party, party! This morning we gathered once more for a great breakfast before we all had to go our separate ways. It was a wonderful weekend and Jimmy and I were so excited to be a part of it. We love you, Debbie and Kevin!!!
